Product Applications
1. Aquaculture industry:
(1) Enhance immunity
(2) Promote growth
(3) Feed additives
2. Against Vibrio infection:
Both guava leaf extract and eucalyptus extract have shown the ability to fight Vibrio biofilm formation and elimination. Eucalyptus extract outperforms guava extract and conventional antibiotics in inhibiting and eradicating the formed Vibrio biofilm.
Effect
1.Hypoglycemia:
Guava leaf extract is able to improve insulin sensitivity, protect pancreatic islet cells, and regulate insulin release, thereby helping to lower blood sugar levels. For diabetics, guava leaf extract can be used as a natural adjunctive treatment.
2.Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory:
Guava leaf extract has an inhibitory effect on a variety of bacteria and fungi (such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, etc.) and can be used to treat mouth ulcers, skin inflammation, etc.
3.Antidiarrheal:
Guava leaves have astringent and antidiarrheal effects, which can reduce intestinal peristalsis and adsorb harmful substances in the intestines, thereby relieving diarrhea symptoms.
4.Antioxidant:
Guava leaves are rich in antioxidants (such as vitamin C, vitamin E, flavonoids, etc.), which can remove free radicals in the body and reduce the damage of oxidative stress to the body, thereby preventing the occurrence of a variety of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, etc.
5.Lowering blood lipids:
Some components in guava leaves are able to lower blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, thereby lowering blood lipids.
6.Protects the liver:
Guava leaves can reduce the inflammatory response of the liver, reduce the levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase in the serum, and protect liver cells from damage.
